Vivino was founded in 2010 by Heini Zachariassen and Theis Søndergaard in Denmark. Vivino now has a wide database of more than 12.5 million different wines and has 50 million users. It increased its stocks and sales because Vivino made its app a marketplace for as many wines as it can. They increased their database to increase products and users by asking people what is the right wine for them. They research what people consider as a good wine then synchronizes with these companies to be part of their product line.
Products and Services of Vivino
Vivino has two platforms, the app and their website. The Vivino website offers a variety of under different categories. They have six categories which are red, white, rose, dessert, sparkling and fortified and under each category are a different collection of wines. Their website shows different search options like per country, wherein you can choose a country and several wines from there will be shown. Then the wine styles category shows different styles of wines like Spanish Roja red then Italian red, etc.
When you clicked a photo of the wine you selected you can see where it is available in your country or where you can buy it. You can also order online but first, you have to register on the Vivino website then go through the usual process of ordering online.

Red Wine
I placed an order for Red Wine. The order was difficult to complete since the system refused to recognize the UK postal code, despite the fact that it was right for the delivery address. I then had to use Google to find a local postal code that the system would accept, which proved to be a difficult task for the delivery company. Even though the system accepted the same details it rejected the first time, I had to process the credit card payment twice before the system accepted it. Potential buyers are put off by such events. They better resolve these Issues or else, I won't visit the site again.
Bought wine
I ordered 12 bottles of wine. The wine storage was bad and the wine went really bad. The wine was over the hill. Wine smell was really bad and it likes rotten hay and the color was brown. I open three bottles for my party and all of my friend spit it out. I opened one more bottle, and it is same, not drinkable nor cannot to use for cooking. Each bottle is over 40 dollars. I didn't mention wine maker, because it is not wine maker's fault. Absolutely, the problem is storage.
I called VIVINO and they said they cannot accept items back because I received the wine more than fourteen day ago. VIVINO is not reliable and is not responsible company. We shouldn't buy from VIVINO, because VIVINO is not handle wine, they just get order and other small wine shop delivers wine. So VIVINO cannot control storage and VIVINO refuse responsibility.
I strongly recommend NOT ORDER WINE FROM VIVINO. They refuse responsibility and they do not control storage of wine.
