I ordered 3 skirts on the 26th of November. When the advertised 25days passed I emailed requesting my tracking number and was given the run around....

Dress

So I'm a huge fan of linennaive, and I was very into one of their gowns, which my sister got me for my birthday. The shipping times had sketched her out, but I remained patient. I was immediately dissatisfied when the box arrived. The clothing was in a clear plastic bag with an L-size sticker on it but no other items in the bag. There was no thank you message, no invoice, nothing I'd expect from a sustainable handmade company, I suppose? I couldn't wear the dress because it was too big for me. The fabric felt rough and stiff (as is typical of linen! ), but it didn't feel like the linen I'd bought for my own projects. It also had a strong unpleasant odor. It felt like something I would have gotten from Wish rather than the firm I imagined this was from.

17 Phoenix Double Breasted Coat

I bought an XL coat as that was the size I should be according to their online charts. The coat was huge and when I asked for a return they offered me 20% to get the coat tailored. This is not what I asked for. When I tried to contact them to get the return form which is not on their website they ghosted me. The coat was very expensive and I am very upset with the customer service and clothing item. Will not shop here again!

Hannah Skirt

Bought the Hannah skirt. The decorative button popped off before I even got the skirt on. When I contacted Linennaive they told me this was a common problem and I could stitch it back on myself. It was the defining feature of the skirt! I wouldn't have bought it if I knew I'd be expected to attach it properly myself! They offered a $10 voucher, which is ridiculous as why would I buy anything else?

Linennaive Skirts

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I ordered 3 skirts on the 26th of November. When the advertised 25days passed I emailed requesting my tracking number and was given the run around. I asked FOUR TIMES for confirmation that this order would arrive before I travelled (28th of December) And was told that it has yet to be shipped and that I could still cancel the order.

I have been lied to and told that my order was “done” and ready to be shipped when it wasn’t.

I was told a WEEK later that it was yet to be shipped and again today that I could still cancel my order. I have 3 emails from “Tracy” telling me the same thing - but I only just NOW received a tracking number (which doesn’t even work!!!) when I asked to cancel an order that I WONT RECEIVE BECAUSE I WONT BE IN AUSTRALIA ANYMORE!!! They ignored my request for a refund THREE TIMES!!!!!

This is TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

They should be more truthful about their times and shipping.

Woolcoat

I just wanted to share my experience with this company and get the word out there as much as possible so that other people can avoid having such a stressful experience.

I ordered a wool coat from Linennaive. It was marked "delivered" but was nowhere to be found. Luckily, my building captured footage of all the packages in the lobby being stolen. There were signs everywhere saying not to leave packages in the lobby and to bring them to concierge for safety but the delivery company Neighbor Express did not pay attention to that and just left them in a high traffic area right by the entry door.

I filed a police report and let Linennaive know that my package had been stolen and sent them video of the theft. I was emailing with a woman named Tracy who after about 8 emails back and forth with her being very fake friendly and extremely evasive, informed me that she refused to refund me or to send me a replacement even though I had video evidence and a police report showing that the item was stolen due to the delivery company leaving it in an unsafe area.

After this, I followed up with Neighbor Express and they took full responsibility for the theft and said they would refund Linennaive and therefor, Linennaive could refund me. Even after that, Tracy refused and said they couldn't even send me a replacement coat because they were "out of stock" but that when they had more coats (MONTHS LATER) that she would send me a replacement.

Well, I checked their website and was able to add the same coat to my cart no problem and when I pointed out that their website didn't show the coat as out of stock Tracy just said it was despite it being clearly available on the site.

At this point I issued a chargeback with my credit card company which was ruled in my favor and was successful in receiving my refund.

I can't speak to the quality of the item but I can absolutely speak to the shady behavior and lack of accountability, as well as them attempting to not refund me or even offer a replacement without a months long wait.

This is a shady company and they will make you play detective and jump through hoops just to refuse to help you in the event of a theft.
