Matouk

Generally, linens are classified as domestic textiles, such as tablecloths and bedding made of linen or linen-like fabrics made of cotton or other fibers, as well as underwear and towels made of linen. Our dining culture is heavily influenced by these textiles.

Thus, the lining sales services of Matouk are made public. Taking a look at Matouk’s customer reviews can provide light on what they do.

About Matouk

The Matouk name is more than just a business; it represents three generations of a family achieving a goal. The organization claims to bring out the best in each other by fostering a mutually respectful environment where people may create, produce, and explore.

John Matouk (founder of Matouk) was born in Damascus, Syria, as the son of a brilliant jeweler. He grew up in Syria, Italy, and China, where he learned to appreciate fine craftsmanship. When Matouk first came to the United States in 1929, his goal was to bring the finest linens and embroidery from around the world to the American consumer.

Matouk was reputed to have quickly established a reputation for its high-quality products, reliable business methods, and innovative ideas. When imports were halted during WWII, John constructed his factory in New York and created Matouk's first iconic tablecloth using unique mohair, rayon, and cotton blend.

When George Sr. (son of John Matouk) was in high school and college, he spent his summers working for his father's company. Following his service in the U.S. Navy, he returned to work full-time for the company, where he expected to work alongside his father for many years to come. Nevertheless, Three years after John Matouk's death, George unexpectedly passed away.

George was believed to have upgraded the company's products and services while preserving the quality and integrity his consumers had come to expect. He was also purported to have expanded the line to include all home textiles and moved the factory from New York City to New Bedford, Massachusetts, which is known for fine textiles and craftsmanship.

In the footsteps of his father and grandfather, George Matouk Jr. learned the value of combining time-honored methods with cutting-edge materials while also looking to the future. A healthy work environment and a reduction in environmental effects are the priorities for today's generation. A solar-powered facility has been installed at the company's headquarters in Fall River, Rhode Island. George Jr. is supposedly committed to upholding the brand's reputation for quality and craftsmanship, while also looking for innovative methods to conserve energy and safeguard the environment.
