Donor
A few years ago, I registered on the Matchingdonors website. I was almost on dialysis at the time and had complete renal failure. I was 51 years old at the time. Friends and family put me to the test, but nothing came of it. From the website, I was connected to several donors, and one bright light shone through. I met an Alaskan man. The testing process took almost 11 months. He made two trips to Boston. In the meantime, I was on dialysis and hoping that everything would work out, which it did miraculously. I was given the gift of life a few months later. Thank you to all of the Matching Donors. There are real-life Angels out there, and I was fortunate enough to come across one. All of this was made possible because I signed up with matching donors.
