    Proofreading Academy may be a good option for helping you hone your skills if you're serious about becoming a work-at-home proofreader. While there is no way of knowing how much work you will get with this company, it will provide you with the opportunity to gain actual paid experience as well as something to include in your portfolio or resume. Overall, I believe Proofreading Academy is a good option for anyone who wants to work from home. The course isn't cheap, but it's well worth it for what you get (super detailed and comprehensive content, responsive support and tutors, and a guaranteed freelance job opportunity at a large agency).
