Short trench coat
The jacket arrived in deplorable condition. All the bottons were hanging by a tread, there was a small pink stain under one button and threads sticking out all over from various seams. When i emailed customer service they asked me to provide pictures which I did. They send me an email back stating to pay for the return , take a photo of shipping receipt send back and they will then determine if i can get refunded! What? What legitimate company operates like that. I wasnt risking more money to be out both a jacket and plus my money as other reviews on trust pilot say they are still trying to get their money back. I took the jacket to my dry cleaner and had to shell out 28 bucks to have the buttons sewn on. I again email GH still in return window and explain that since they are offering 25% sale on this item, i am out about that for repair how bout credit me that $25 dollars. Do you think they stood by their item even then, nope!they come back and say they will give me a 30 gift card and 15%. Well never buying anything from them again so no. The company is based in China and their whole speel about gentle farming practices is probably BS as well. Plus your CCC might charge a foriegn transaction fee Do not buy anything from this company and if you want more honest reviews look at trust pilot.

Sweaters
I'm only giving one star because I have to put at least one. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS RIP-OFF company! I have three disputes open with paypal for refunds on items I was charged for but returned months ago! The company provides only automated replies that have nothing to do with inquiries. It took months to receive my the last item in a multi-item order. I'll be lucky if I get refunded.
Clothing
I've been waiting for my order for over 5 weeks now. Yes, there are shipment delays from China due to pandemic restrictions but the tracking information says my order has left China twice - without any further updates or details. The customer service person is polite and apologetic, but keeps insisting my package "is in transit normally and cannot be cancelled; they even offered "as compensation" a free return/exchange, even though this is already in the existing T&Cs on the website! I strongly recommend you don't buy from this company.
2 coats
If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered 2 coats from them in January. They say it takes 4 days to ship. After longer than that I hadn't gotten an update so I inquired. They told me one of the coats I ordered was out of stock and they were waiting on that. So they shipped out one of them first. Fast forward to 3 weeks later I receive the "out of stock" coat. But not the one they supposedly shipped.
I didn't like the coat I received so I asked to return it. They told me a random address to send it to in the USA and said I need to pay for shipping up front, once received they will refund the item and the shipping. I shipped it out to them as they instructed
2 weeks later, I still have not received the first coat. I inquired about it a few times and they could not help me, they just kept saying they need to hear from logisitics and never follow up. So I disputed half the transcation amount on Paypal and came to an agreement and got half my money back.
Almost 2 weeks after I shipped the return I haven't gotten any acknowledgement on it or a refund. So I inquire today and they tell me they are not going to do anything for me because of the dispute. I explain the situation and they refuse for a while I continue to chat with them and the person says he will "try" to get me the refund for the coat only. I told him I need the cost of shipping as well because that is what was promised to me. They told me no, I continued to insist and they close the chat on me and block me from getting into the chat from my computer again.
So I open a chat again from a different device, got the same person I talked to previously. He didn't apologize or anything, and just told me he will connect with his superior and let me know in 24 hours. I don't trust that they will get back to me, but I have no choice but to wait and see.
A lot
So, so disappointed. I got two sweatshirts that are quite cute -- at $89 or $99 a pop. Tag says dry clean only. No mention of this on the site. Zipper on one broke at first wearing. I think they are a total scam, and do not recommend.
Clothing
Do not buy from this company. If you need to return anything it will be a major hassle. They promised to pay for return shipping but they don’t do that. They will tell you to send a PayPal invoice and never pay it. Very difficult to cancel an order as well. Cannot reach anybody by phone and everything is in a chat also difficult if you have an issue.
Gental Herd clothing
The company has beautiful things but delivery to 8 weeks for one item and over 3 for two other items, which came in separate deliveries. I kept one and returned the other two according to their very specific and detailed return requirements. I was never refunded my money (about $200) or contacted. I would never buy from this company. It seems shadey.
oversise coat
I bout the item for the prise 65.20$, hey canceled this item and change the price for 475.00$????????????????????? can you believe in it never us this company to bay anything it is a fraud never, never ,never
Ordered sweaters
DO NOT ORDER FROM GENTLEHERD! They misrepresent when they will ship; they misrepresent that they will issue refunds; and if somehow you can get them to issue a refund, they still keep some or most of your money! I've disputed this with my credit card company and Gentleherd LIED about issuing a refund!
