Wedding gown
I can't say enough good things about District 5! I was shopping for a wedding gown in my budget range online, and District 5 appeared almost too wonderful to be true. I did my homework, read all the reviews, and heard nothing but good things about the boutique. I was anxious because it was my wedding gown and I reside in Sydney, but Theresa put my mind at ease with her prompt responses. My dress stated that it would take 16 weeks to ship, however I believe it was ready a week or two before, and once shipped, it arrived in 4 days! I'm in love with my gown and couldn't be happier.

This company is a scam. I ordered a dress and two months have passed & I still have not received my dress. Every time I contact them, they tell me that the dress is still being produced. You can only contact them through WhatsApp because no one will ever talk to you. I decided to contact the designer for the dress I ordered and he said he has not received any order from District 5 since a long time ago. I would advise the public to beware of District 5 as they are scammers.

For over 2 months now I have ordered a dress and up till now I have not received it. I contacted the designer of the dress & he said he never received any order from District 5 but they kept telling me it he dress was being produced..

I ordered and was charged for a dress FOUR months ago. Still hasn’t been sent to me. Customer service answers 1 out of 4 emails weeks apart only apologizing but still no delivery date. Will not give me my money back cause it is company policy and I am afraid to get the store credit to go to this frustrated experience again.

BUYERS BEWARE! I ordered a $15,000 Georges Hobeika dress for a very special occasion. I was reassured that the dress would arrive prior to my event. I even paid an $750 expedite fee to ensure this. You can only use WhatsApp to communicate with customer service, which is frustrating in itself, however the good news is I have ALL the communication saved now as proof.
I was in contact with a rep named "Febe" almost everyday who reassured me that my order was right on track. Well, fast forward 4 weeks, now 5 DAYS before my event and my dress still did not arrive, they still did not provide any tracking or any information on arrival date. I was so frustrated that I reached out to the Hobeika's headquarters in Beirut to try and get some information about my dress since District 5 would not tell me anything. The Hobeika rep told me that not only did District 5 never pay them to process the order but even if they did, it takes a minimum of 40 DAYS to produce this dress! So I was doomed from the beginning and District 5 led me on for 4+ weeks.
So, 5 days before my event, I had NO dress and was left in a very compromising position. What's worse is, they didn't even care! There was no attempt to help by sending me another comparable dress, offer any sort of compensation, or try to make the situation better. I was met with a fake apology that "we are very sorry you didn't get the outcome you had hoped for." Really? Outcome I had hoped for? How about District 5 FAILED to do their job and caused an innocent customer extreme stress and anxiety. They thought giving me a refund for a dress I never received was enough to make up for their unprofessionalism and scamming ways.
The rep at Hobeika told me that they have MANY clients that have gone through the same thing with them and to order from them directly next time. Save yourself the stress and DO NOT shop here. I went through hell with ZERO care or help from customer service! Even the owner didn't respond back to me! HORRIBLE!

I ordered my dress in october, for an event I had in january 10th, the dress should've arrived at the beggining of december. THE DATE OF THE EVENT PASSED and Im still asking for my refund almost one month later.

Worst experience. Save your money. Got my dress at 7:00 pm on Tuesday took it back on Wednesday next day after work and shipped back because did not like it. I did not even tried them in. They told me on dress have some marked on it we will not give u full refund. Excuses. So they took like 20% which they said dry cleaning coast. I never ever heard that before. So stay away from their bad customer service. That is why they don’t even have yelp page. Not worth it.
