Endurance SL Road Bike
This is my first time purchasing a proper road bike, and I am extremely pleased with my decision. After taking a good look at all the road bikes on their website, I decided to go for the Endurance SL road bike. The Endurance SL bike is a good quality bike, it is lightweight and the frame size was just perfect for me. Customer service from purchasing the bike to delivery was first class from Ribble! They even offered a video calling customer care for free. I got value for my money and a satisfactory delivery process. I Highly recommend an Endurance SL for any rider!
I’m really upset and angry to be having to write this, but this company is taking your money and not delivering the goods, I contacted them on 3 occasions prior to placing an order to be sure we could get the bike i wanted, it was for a very important trip, I explained all this to the phone staff, was made to feel confident about the delivery times etc and so placed the order, within a couple of days an email arrived telling me the date had changed, panic set in, I call them to be told it’s showing as early April and it’s just some gear components we are waiting for, early April arrives, I call again and the date was given 8th April (although some honesty from the call handler, he suggests it may not arrive til the week after) again all OK as it’s early may (3rd) we leave for the trip, my delivery was still showing as April but on another routine call to check the details I’m told, it won’t be here til after may and it’s now the frame that they are waiting for?? and if I want to buy elsewhere they will be sorry to lose the custom but understand, now none of this parts sourcing would have been an issue had they been honest, but during every call I was made to believe it would arrive in time for this trip we had planned, it’s a super personal trip and I cannot miss it, and am having to sort another bike now, but it would have been nice to have been given the truth at the outset that they have many many customers who have been waiting for 6+ months and I will just be added to the pile of orders they have to get through, I’m pretty disgusted with the service, the bike can now arrive whenever they get round to sending it, but I will never buy from them again and I’d urge caution to anyone considering placing an order if you want the bike any time soon
Note to Ribble, don’t ask for my order number and suggest you’ll look into it, I’ve heard it too many times now, the bottom line is if you can’t fulfill an order don’t take money from the customer without giving an honest an open date that isn’t moved every other week!
