Progressive lenses

DO NOT buy progressive lenses. Please read to the end. When they are wrong they will blame you and only refund 70% and 10% of your purchase. If they try to correct them they will only give you 50% back and you will pay shipping for return.

Prescription glasses

My first time ordering from lensmart was a bad experience. Ordering was simple, they were quick to take my money but I waited over a month for my glasses. When I finally recieved my glasses I was very disappointed. I paid extra to have then shaved down and they did a sloppy half ass job at it, they were uneven. I had a heck of a time getting quick responses from customer service for a refund, they took up to 3 days responding to my emails and the phone number listed doesn't even work. Finally I got ahold of someone and instead of agreeing to give me a refund they tried to tell me to pick different frames but I would have to pay the difference. No thanks. I said I didn't like any other frames because I wasn't about to wait another month. Finally they agreed to send me a refund but only 70% of what I paid, not only that I had to pay for my own shipping to send them back! So I basically only got back half of what I paid be ause I was out $10 more dollars for shipping costs. Very poor customer service and lame refund policy! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM LENSMART AGAIN AND I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU TO SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHWERE!!!!! I have ordered from eye buy direct and zeelool and they have not disappionted me. Lensmart is a scam. They don't care about you as a customer, they just want to take your money and not honor their refund policy. If you're thinking about making a purchase with them DON'T DO IT!

glasses

I was notified 1 pair I ordered would not work with my prescription; selected a second pair and paid the difference. I received 1 pair and only the difference I paid, not the amount I paid for the pair. I cant get a hold of anyone that can actually help me. Also, this was 9/20....still trying to just get my refund. Stay away.

4. I have emailed customer service twice. Each time I get a cut and paste response. I asked point blank, Where are the glasses? Do you actually know where these glasses are on the surface of the Earth? The response is to "Please confirm your order number."

THIS IS A CHINESE COMPANY. I have nothing against the Chinese, but you need to be clear about shipping times and place or origin.

I believe my glasses are stuck on a ship possibly or maybe just plain lost.

The problem is I am at an RV park and took their original statement of 20 days to get the glasses as truth. IT IS NOT!

What is more the customer service does nothing to follow-up or give further info. Please tell me the glasses are coming from China and may well be in transit. Do you have a way to track their location from the time it leaves your factory in China till it makes it to USPS here in the USA? What does that tracking say?
So completely frustrating and I just hate it when companies don't disclose information about who and what they are. I will never deal with this group again. I hope I can somehow get these glasses before I leave Houston in another month. I have very little hope that I will ever get my $76 back if the glasses are lost or arrive after I leave the city.

5 pairs of glasses

I ordered 5 pairs of glasses. The first two were low quality, but okay for the price. The next 3 pairs were awful for quality. The front of the glasses had been assembled with hot glue and it was all over the glasses! Ridiculous! I asked for a return and they did not want to return all the money, but half of it. Their customer service takes forever to respond. After 5 months asking for my refund, I was told I had to pay for the shipping (which costed way more than my order) and I would get half of what I paid for back. This is terrible!

Eyeglasses

I placed an order on 12/8/2022. It was shipped on 12/13/2022. Showed given to a local carrier. It's been sitting there ever since. I called USPS for a status. They said they are waiting on the pkg from the local carrier and once they get it, it can be delivered the next day. I emailed lensmart 4 times and kept getting the same response which is what I see when tracking it: just took my money and will not refund me. I'm contacting PayPal.

Like many reviews I'm seeing, I ordered progressive lenses and there was no quality to speak of. They were like a plastic magnifying glass. Couldn't see anything in front of me.
I contacted Lensmart via FB messenger and by email. The agent on FB was only evasive and would do things like send a comma or period to my facebook messenger in the middle of the night so my phone would chime.
Finally I got an RMA and return the glasses by express certified mail. They were received in Ontario on Dec 19. Lensmart will not even acknowledge that they have received them. They actually sent me a photo of someone else's glasses and said, "Are these yours?" I could clearly see the name and address was not mine in the photo.
I tried to make a claim via PayPal, but they would not refund due to the purchase not being eligible and the vendor being a scammer.
I documented everything, took pictures, and have receipts, but that doesn't seem to matter.
Today is Jan 19 and they've had my return for a month. No response to any of my correspondence.

They are a complete and total scam. After a short time you will see that most of the customer photos and reviews on FB and community are from fake accounts.

readingglasses

i received my glasses and could not see a thing out of them. they looked like magnifying glasses and i only wear readers.
i contacted customer service and they offered me 15% off my next pair. I will not be purchasing anything else from this company.
i’ve only had them 2 weeks and i’ve been trying to return them for a week.
this was a waste of time and money.
