I book tickets for May 24th 2023 and even their confirmation email listed the "use date" as such, but the tickets themselves said they were only valid for the month of March 203....

AirTickets

My nightmare began since Day 1 of my booking with TRIP.COM. My ticket was issued with incorrect name & insurance dates .
I had contacted their service agents with unreliable assurance that my issues will be resolved.
TRIP.COM had no intention to solve my problem, hence directed me to JAL for help. However, as I bought from tour agency, JAL does not have the rights to do name amendment unless TRIP.COM inform them to do so.
Hence, I tried to approach their sevice agents but was told that they have to submit a letter to get approval from JAL!
This is ridiculous!! I was strongly advised by JAL staff to inform TRIP.COM to call /email them directly n my name will be corrrected. Unfortunately, TRIP.COM keep pushing their responsibility till now.
Yesterday, I received an email from TRIP.COM that I need to made a payment fee for name amendment but with "NO GUARANTEE RESULT"! If I do not proceed the payment within 24 hours, they have the rights to cancel my Air Ticket with no money refund!

A Day light robbery Tour Agency!!! Please avoid & do not be the next victim like me.

Flight

AVOID AT ALL COSTS if you don't want a headache. Booked a ticket for myself and 2 kids, but they split into 2 tickets allocating me to seat separately with 2 kids under 10. They said its airlines policy but I flew so many times with the airlines and never had a problem. Booking through opodo etc was all good. Just trip.com have a silly excuse blaming on airlines when I fly with them few times a year. They did not bother to put 100% into sorting issue, the easiest option was to blame me on making the mistake(which I definitely haven't) so then blamed airlines. Will never ever use their service. Totally useless.

Flights

This company is the biggest rip off I have ever had the misfortune of using.
Wish I'd read reviews before I handed over my money which they now won't pay back for a cancelled flight. Instead they palm you off to the airline who won't help as you can't get through security because the phone number and address are not yours but some place in Shanghai!

Hotel

Trip has to be a legitimate scam company because he literally lied to me about a refund for 3 weeks. I booked a hotel through them, one that wasn't suppose to be charged to my card until I got to the hotel. Guess what, as soon as I hit the submit button the funds were immediately deducted from my account. I called them 3 mins after the booking to cancel and they confirmed all was good and I should receive my refund within 3-5 business days. Well that came and left and after 3 weeks and many attempts to get my money back, I called the hotel myself and they confirm that Trip.com never called them to report a cancellation and they never contacted them regarding a refund. They lied to me for 3 weeks, calling and emailing me telling me they reaching out but they never did. After I caught them in a lie that pretty much told me I'm on my own and I need to contact the hotel and they done. WTH! What kind of service is this? I will never book with this company ever again because they lie and do whatever they can to keep you money. I will do all I can to notify people to not do business with this company because if they wanted to just take my money they should've just said that from day one. Thieves!!!!!

Ticketstoattraction

Customer service is a joke. No one is willing to help. I doubt that even those tickets would work. I disputed the charge with paypal because this is a scam. Just read the amount of negative reviews here and see how they have a person posting the same reply to all the negative reviews. Such a shame.

Flightticket

I booked my flights through them and when sht hits the fan, they will leave you hanging! They will not fully and correctly help you when you badly need their assistance. They will pass you to multiple departments where all the managers are “busy and cannot talk unless their is a schedule requested”, they will give you contracting statements and will drag you and your issue!

READ ONLINE REVIEWS FIRST and you’ll fond out while they have consistent bad reviews!
I REGRET GOING THROUGH YOU GUYS AND I HOPE A LOT OF PEOPLE SEE THIS SO THEY DONT EXPERIENCE THE SAME THING!

Airporttransportation

I bought ticket from Phuket to Bangkok Thru trip .com and I also paid airport pick-up , from Bkk to shangrila hotel Feb 13,2023 . But nobody showed , we waited for more than an hour… I ask the help of the hotel Representative , cannot find our names and the transportation provider. It was bad experienced and tiring , I ask for refund they wont my money …. This company is not real able, not helpful they suck … please avoid the problem do not use this company, they ripped me off , did not refund my money I paid without receiving the service… VERY BAD Customer service .

Flightticket

I have booked the flight ticket through trip.com and due to family emergency I had to move the dates or cancel. As per ticket policy for the change fee is 18$ + fare difference.

But they are giving their own fair difference which is literally double the amount of ticket price in actual airline website. Looks like their intention is customer to pay one more ticket price for change. This is lie change fee is 18$, they will rob you and make sure pay double the price or loose your light booking.

Tried calling customer service more than 10 times to resolve, agents are acting like they are dumb. If I call them they take the change dates and submit change request, you will get an email either flight is not available ( event after 6month flying dates ) or double the flight ticket price.

No resolution or loose money you have made booking

Hotel reservation

I booked the hotel with Trip.com. In less than an hour, I received a call from them that they canceled my reservation. They promised to return the money with compensation. Never got the compensation but just an email that it would take 10 days to process the refund. I called the hotel for which I made the reservation and I was told that they do have rooms available for the dates of cancellation. So, the company just used my money for 10 days while I was supposed to figure out how to pay for another reservation.

Flights

Worst Travel Ever. This is what happened to me exactly!!

1- First they entered my wrong phone number
2- Due to the wrong phone number the flight schedule change cannot be confirmed from the side.
3- I talked to 15+ different agents so many times and always received a reply to wait for 72 hours and so on. I waited for almost 5 MONTHS!!!!
4- Eventually, I got a flight with 28 hours of transit flight at Jeddah Airport and I need a visa to stay more than 12 hours. I could not get this visa due to the short time.
5- I bought another ticket of another airline as I have exams and I need to go ASAP.
6- Finally I asked them to refund, and they are still doing the same thing to wait for 72 hours thing which I did many times and now even they don't know what to do.

I RECOMMEND ALL OF YOU, DON'T GO WITH TRIP.COM, YOU ARE THE ONE WHO WILL SUFFER AND PAY EXTRA AMOUNT FOR THEIR BAD ADMINISTRATION AND MISTAKES DONE BY THEM. DON'T GO WITH THEM!!!!
