Flight ticket

I bought a flight ticket from TRIP.COM and my first flight has been cancelled, so I missed connecting flight and returning flights too. They did not provide me any replacement, I called their customer number which says we just worked 9-5 Singapore time and I tried to get a change flight through their App several times, but they did not do anything for me. They ruined my whole plan for vacation. I just disputed that charge from my credit card and I hope at lease get my money back. If not I will try to sue them. This company is fraud. Avoid it and never reserve a flight by them.

short haul flights

A complete rip off!
They falsely lead you to believe you need add ons, such as their 'cancellation guarantee policy' (which does nothing other than give you pocket change back should you actually need it). If you do need to cancel for any reason then even your baggage is classed as an add-on & they refuse to refund it (which of course on a short haul flight is almost more expensive than the flight itself & they will not incur any costs for themselves - in my eyes this is stealing) I was offered less than a 3rd of my money back for absolutely zero work on their part.
Of course its all in the small print so there nothing you can do about it! Just a money making scam for those of us who unfortunately don't read the small print before the make a rushed booking! How they can justify keeping your expensive baggage fee's i will never know!! I have checked with Ryan Air and they are not charged for this, thus again, stealing your money.
They charge much more than other agents, and certainly way over the price you will be directly charged by booking with the carrier.
Avoid at all costs - I will never use this company again and will actively seek to deter others.

Flight

Flight 1 lands at 9:30. Connecting Flight 2's gate closes at 10:00; I'm sorry, 10:03 according to Margo. Flight 1's doors open at 9:50, leaving me with exactly 13 mins to navigate a new airport, get through passport control, security and customs to catch Flight 2. However, apparently, Margo advises this is PLENTY of time for a passenger to make it from 1 flight to another as he repeatedly said as if he were set to repeat mode on Spotify. Obviously Margo did not understand that if this were enough time, I would not have spent half my day speaking with him and several other representatives about missing a flight I only had 13 mins to get to. Apparently there "missed flight security guarantee" is a lie as they'd rather leave me stranded in a foreign country than to refund my ticket or to place me on another flight. There customer service (from all but one female representative was absolutely atrocious). I would have definitely accepted a partial refund or to pay for a flight difference, but they just actually genuinely do not care about you. It's like them being a decent human being or actually helping you make it home safely gets taken out of their pay cheque. I would avoid trip.com at all costs, there are way better 3rd party booking agencies or just book directly with the airline, you have more protection and friendlier representatives.

Flights

Worst Travel Ever. This is what happened to me exactly!!

1- First they entered my wrong phone number
2- Due to the wrong phone number the flight schedule change cannot be confirmed from the side.
3- I talked to 15+ different agents so many times and always received a reply to wait for 72 hours and so on. I waited for almost 5 MONTHS!!!!
4- Eventually, I got a flight with 28 hours of transit flight at Jeddah Airport and I need a visa to stay more than 12 hours. I could not get this visa due to the short time.
5- I bought another ticket of another airline as I have exams and I need to go ASAP.
6- Finally I asked them to refund, and they are still doing the same thing to wait for 72 hours thing which I did many times and now even they don't know what to do.

I RECOMMEND ALL OF YOU, DON'T GO WITH TRIP.COM, YOU ARE THE ONE WHO WILL SUFFER AND PAY EXTRA AMOUNT FOR THEIR BAD ADMINISTRATION AND MISTAKES DONE BY THEM. DON'T GO WITH THEM!!!!

Flights

Had a flight booked through them 3 months in advance just to get to the airport and find flight has been delayed 2days! Contacted the airline and got the obvious runaround and got told that I should I have been notified by trip.com and there response after all this is we can offer you a refund on your flight's and that is it ....... No reschedule of flights no cares at all NEVER USE THIS ITS A SCAM

Flight Orlando Phoenix

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I booked a flight with baggage, insurance policy and carbon offset. The flight was cancelled by Trip.com, but I could not get the baggage, insurance policy or carbon offset refunded. Customer support did not help me. They lied that the airline refused to refund; the airline had already told me they were willing to refund via Trip.com. Trip.com refused to accommodate this. This is a complete scam. Never book here.

Hotel

Trip has to be a legitimate scam company because he literally lied to me about a refund for 3 weeks. I booked a hotel through them, one that wasn't suppose to be charged to my card until I got to the hotel. Guess what, as soon as I hit the submit button the funds were immediately deducted from my account. I called them 3 mins after the booking to cancel and they confirmed all was good and I should receive my refund within 3-5 business days. Well that came and left and after 3 weeks and many attempts to get my money back, I called the hotel myself and they confirm that Trip.com never called them to report a cancellation and they never contacted them regarding a refund. They lied to me for 3 weeks, calling and emailing me telling me they reaching out but they never did. After I caught them in a lie that pretty much told me I'm on my own and I need to contact the hotel and they done. WTH! What kind of service is this? I will never book with this company ever again because they lie and do whatever they can to keep you money. I will do all I can to notify people to not do business with this company because if they wanted to just take my money they should've just said that from day one. Thieves!!!!!

Ticketstoattraction

I book tickets for May 24th 2023 and even their confirmation email listed the "use date" as such, but the tickets themselves said they were only valid for the month of March 203. Customer service is a joke. No one is willing to help. I doubt that even those tickets would work. I disputed the charge with paypal because this is a scam. Just read the amount of negative reviews here and see how they have a person posting the same reply to all the negative reviews. Such a shame.

Flight

AVOID AT ALL COSTS if you don't want a headache. Booked a ticket for myself and 2 kids, but they split into 2 tickets allocating me to seat separately with 2 kids under 10. They said its airlines policy but I flew so many times with the airlines and never had a problem. Booking through opodo etc was all good. Just trip.com have a silly excuse blaming on airlines when I fly with them few times a year. They did not bother to put 100% into sorting issue, the easiest option was to blame me on making the mistake(which I definitely haven't) so then blamed airlines. Will never ever use their service. Totally useless.
